Position Summary:

The Knox Cloud Innovation team is looking for world-class Android software engineers to join our technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud-based end-to-end mobile applications and services.

This is a great opportunity for a talented and hard-working Android Engineer to build secure cloud-based application and services for users of the world’s best-selling mobile devices. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Android application and framework components for indoor location, device management and configuration cloud-based solutions.
  • Create quick proof-of-concept prototypes.
  • Maintain and support existing service, application and Android frameworks.
  • Collaborate with design, product management teams to deliver engaging user interfaces and solutions.
  • Explore new technologies and grow professionally, continuously evolving product.

 Background, Experience & Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on industry experience.
  • Experience developing high-performance, highly scalable and rich UI mobile applications.
  • Experience with REST and JSON, third party libraries and APIs.
  • Strong JAVA programming skills. Kotlin programming skills is a plus.
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded programming
  • Experience working with location-based technologies is a plus.

Work Hours

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
