TikTok's User Growth team leads growth initiatives for TikTok and all its platforms (e.g. TV, Lite, Web, etc.) with a data-driven and results-focused engineering and product mindset. We are seeking talented individuals who enjoy the intersection of product, data, design, and engineering to help us reach the next milestone of billions of users.

As a Senior Android Engineer for the User Growth Team, you will:
• Leverage data to understand our users and our product in-depth, identify areas of opportunity and execute projects to drive user growth, retention, and/or engagement
• Design, implement the new-user features of our mobile application.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience.
• Analyse and optimize Android applications for efficiency and performance.
• Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification
-BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors with at least 5 years of working experience in native Android development
-Strong understanding of software development principles, capabilities, and limitations of mobile platforms.
-Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Java, Kotlin
-Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases

Preferred Qualification
-Good team communication and collaboration skills
-Passion and experience building consumer-facing products is a huge plus; We would love to hear about apps you've developed.
