Angular Developer

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain codebases for rich interactive modern applications
• Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables by employing strategies such as code reviews unit tests.
• Involvement in technical and architectural decisions that shape the course of the project
• Involvement in product shaping decisions and empowerment to propose new features
• Document and update the design and architecture of projects
• Spreading technical knowledge inside the team mentoring juniors

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Angular applications (Angular 8 or above) and deep knowledge of the framework
• Proven experience with the design and implementation of UI elements
• Good knowledge of the RxJS library common CSS frameworks and preprocessors
• Proven experience with Cypress
• Proven experience with frontend unit testing preferably using Jest
• Sound knowledge of browsers native capabilities as well as experience with debugging/profiling frontend applications
• Sound understanding of module bundlers ability to debug/modify external libraries
• Deep knowledge of internet protocols (HTTP HTTPS)
• Sound knowledge of build tools and package manager (e.g. gradle npm)

• Java SE 11+
• Spring framework Spring Boot and subprojects like: Spring Data Spring AOC Spring Security Spring MVC Rest Spring Testing Spring Actuator
• Junit 5 Mockito
• Terraform
• AWS ECS/MSK/others
• Knowledge of *nix based OSs and networking
