QualificationsÂ
Â
- A passion for anime, writing, and a drive to grow within the industryÂ
- Broad working knowledge of Anime (including Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Avatar/Korra, Studio Ghibli, Sailor Moon, Isekai, PokĂ©mon, One Punch Man, and Jujutsu Kaisen)Â
- Up to date with new anime
- The ability to analyze content and pull directly from the source material to back up claimsÂ
- A sharp eye for grammatical detailsÂ
- Excellent command of the English languageÂ
- Ability to write high-quality articles with swift turn-around timesÂ
- Comfortable working in an entirely virtual environmentÂ
- Should possess a general understanding of anime culture and strong research skills

ResponsibilitiesÂ
Â
- Write a minimum of 5 Lists per week in CBR’s house style (following the requisite training)Â
- This will include writing three regular sized Lists (1,400 words), and two Long Lists (2,000 words).Â
- This will include fact-checking, formatting, linking, and image sourcing/very basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)Â
- Brainstorm, pitch, and develop original content ideas that’ll be published on-site
- Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team
- Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team
