Job Description

Serves as a member of the Foundation's Annual Giving and CMN Hospitals team. Supports fundraising strategies as the tactical partner for Gillette Children's direct response mailings, provides logistics support to the event planning contractor and serves as a front-line point of contact for donors and third-party event partners. May perform miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.

This is a hybrid opportunity - three days onsite, two days from home. Office location: St. Paul, MN. Standard business hours, Monday-Friday.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.78/hour to $32.66/hour with a median wage of $27.22/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Major Challenges

  • Ensure accuracy in work
  • Supporting a robust and growing direct response program focused on increasing average gift amounts and building relationships with a broad base of annual donors
  • Partnering with an events contractor and philanthropy team members to provide efficient fundraising events and a great donor experience
  • Adjusting to fluctuations in work volumes

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Support annual giving programs.

    • Provide assistance in the planning and implementation of fundraising initiatives and programs.
    • Assist in the identification, solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of prospects and donors.
    • Support selected fundraising activities, including direct mail, e-communications, event planning, third-party events, and employee giving.
    • Input and extract data from various systems
    • Participate in the development and production of internal and external materials, proposals and reports.
    • Provide general office support such as scheduling, correspondence, reports,presentations, etc.
    • Work with volunteers, contracted vendors, and Hospital staff members
  • Provide Foundation support

    • Check Foundation email inbox
    • Assist with Stewardship efforts and mailings

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Highly detail oriented

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to represent the Gillette Children's brand and values to a diverse range of constituencies
  • Experience working with a relationship database
  • Proven qualities of self-initiative and self-motivation.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters.
  • Strong attention to detail skills, resourcefulness, and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet timely deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Raisers Edge experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Raiser's Edge

Gillette requires all staff to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless there is a Gillette-approved medical or religious exemption.
