The role of the annuity product analyst is to drive the annuity business by supporting product development, product management, marketing, and the sales team. The annuity product analyst uses data and tools to deliver insights to various business partners to inform decision making.Â
Job purpose:
This position is responsible for supporting annuity product management initiatives associated with product development, product management, rate setting, marketing, and competitive positioning. This position is responsible for supporting business decisions through the analysis of internal and external data including ongoing and ad-hoc reporting and serving as a project resource on department or cross functional initiatives.Â

- Requires a college degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
- Manages own workload and provides technical contribution.
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
- Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
- Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.
Job responsibilities:Â
- Provide analysis, insight, and recommendations to support product development initiatives.
- Communicate analysis and conclusions clearly and concisely in verbal and written communication.
- Utilize competitive resources to develop tools and insight to support sales staff and product management decisions.
- Support annuity rate setting.
- Manage periodic and ad-hoc reports as needed by the business.
- Communicate product specifications effectively with cross functional teams.
- Support sales and marketing with marketing campaigns and maintenance of marketing materials.
- Perform in-depth data analysis of trends within our existing book of business to identify risks and opportunities.

Job requirements:Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 0 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.Â
- Ability to learn about annuity products and explain features clearly to different audiences.
- Understanding of the annuity industry preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks simultaneously while working effectively and independently in a time sensitive environment.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with remotely located coworkers and cross functional team.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$69,000.00 - $103,400.00
