Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities: as an Ansible developer you will be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of the Ansible core and Ansible collections supporting the automation and orchestration of software on the z/OS platform. You will work on the design coding and testing of features that enhance the functionality and performance of Ansible addressing both current and future client needs. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Support and System Verification to deliver high-quality software solutions.”

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 7+ years of experience in developing tools and products using at least one scripting language: Ansible Python Bash.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in working with Docker and container technologies: K8s Openshift Dockerhub Docker Swarm).
• 4+ years of experience in closely working with the team as a technical lead to translate requirements into work items (stories).
• Strong analytical debugging and problem solving skills to analyze issues and defects reported by customer-facing and test teams.
• Proficient in source control management tools (GitHub) and Agile Life Cycle Management tools.
