Group Description:

We are looking for a talented AI Prompt Engineer to join our Data Science team in Pune, India. This team serves as the Center of Excellence for AI and data science initiatives and is responsible for building and leveraging big data capabilities and advanced modeling techniques across the firm. Initiatives cover all aspects of our organization, spanning research, portfolio management, trading, risk management, operations, sales and marketing. The AI Data Scientist will engage with stake-holders across AB to leverage AI to transform decision-making by building new tools and training the organization to harness those new capabilities. 

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities

• Leverage large language models (LLMs) and other AI tools to enhance investment outcomes, sales productivity, client engagement and operational efficiencies
• Train organization and empower colleagues to fully leverage commercial LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc) and internal tools
• Design, experiment, and refine prompts for large language models (LLMs) to generate relevant responses and insights
• Improve the accuracy, creativity, and effectiveness of AI-generated content
• Evaluate prompt outcomes and fine-tune them based on results to ensure high-quality outputs
• Monitor AI performance and suggest adjustments to enhance model output. Use statistical and analytical techniques to assess model performance and experiment with new algorithms.
• Conduct research to understand best practices in prompt engineering and apply findings to ongoing projects
• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and relationships in data.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Experience with Python and the associated libraries
• Experience with databases and query languages
• Familiarity with data science and prompt engineering techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an eagerness to learn and adapt
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
• Strong project management skills
• Familiarity with NLP techniques, cloud platforms and data visualization tools are preferred
