AP Analyst

THE ROLE: AP Analyst

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the AP Analyst is an integral part of the accounting team with responsibilities for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and ownership of the accounts payable process. You will perform a variety of clerical/accounting functions and assist with preparing required month-end entries. In addition, you'll be responsible for other special projects, including completion of 1099’s, documenting procedures, and interacting with auditors. 

What You’ll Do:

• Process invoices, check requests, and T&E reimbursements
• Initiate and prepare payment processing
• Prepare and post wire transfer payments
• Maintain vendor records and files as needed
• Create standardized departmental forms/templates as needed
• Build strong customer relations, external and internal partners including open and continual communication with vendors and internal customers

• 1-2 years accounts payable experience, ideally in retail or ecommerce
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment
• Advanced Excel experience
• Experience in an ERP accounting system such as People Soft
• An understanding of General Ledger and Accounts Payable account reconciliation
• Being team-oriented and able to interact effectively and influence people at all levels and across all functions of the organization
