AP Associate

The Role:
The AP Associate is a support function within the overall finance department. This position is responsible for processing and posting of customer invoices and payments and other related A/P (Accounts Payable) functions as well as other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain supplier invoices, receiving documents and other supporting documentation then examines, codes appropriately, and posts to the accounting system
• Coordinates and resolves with buyers all cost discrepancies & Handle all supplier A/P queries and follow up
• Prepares invoices for check printing. Prepares hand checks as needed
• Prepare, scan, file and maintain documents and records
• Assist and support to complete month-end process
• Organize and process all customer payments, checks, ACH or Credit Card.
• Other tasks assigned by financial lead

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred
• Located in Boulder, CO and in office 5 days a week.
• Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations from the data
• 1-2 years’ experience in clerical accounting
• Quick and accurate 10-key skills
• Excellent communication and telephone skills
• Attention to detail & ability to multitask
• Teamwork

Compensation:

Range is $48-52K, including a potential annual bonus and equity. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
