AP Psych Tutor

TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking an in-person AP Psychology Tutor to work with students online. Candidates will be responsible for providing quality in-person tutoring to students at a local learning center.

You will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and is committed to helping students succeed.

Compensation: $60-$70/hr

Classification: Contract (1099)

Tutoring Type: Online/Remote. 60-90 minute lessons

Responsibilities

• Provide remote tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12 AP Psychology
• Create lesson plans for individual students.
• Administer practice sets and evaluate student progress.
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress.

Requirements

• Based in US
• 4-12 hours per week of availability
• An earned Bachelor's Degree from a US 4 year degree granting college or university
• Past experience tutoring or teaching AP Psychology
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background and >2 years of experience as teacher or tutor
