Team Introduction:
The financial accounting team handles the core responsibilities of financial accounting of entities where the team is responsible for establishing in-region accounting for a group of businesses, advising and working with the business and collaborating cross-functionally and will be responsible for providing financial accounting solutions of the Company, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual books, and review, analyze, and report under the accounting principles and other related regulations.

Responsibilities:
- In charge of APAC entities, including but not limited to Singapore entities
- Manage and mentor team members from the Accounting and Reporting team, including but not limited to hands-on in guiding the team in resolving complex issues
- Review and post journal entries to ensure monthly and quarterly closing goes smoothly
- Review and prepare trial balance and financial statements
- Review and perform monthly account reconciliation. etc
- Lead reporting to liaise with external auditors in annual financial audit and statutory reporting for the group
- Prepare financial data to support the tax team to complete tax submission
- Prepare related financial data for government declarations
- Provide financial data according to the business needs of other departments
- Assist tax, treasury, FSSC and other finance departments in local compliances work
- Lead and support ad-hoc projects such as system migrations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance major with relevant working experience in an audit/commercial full set accounting related role.
- Big 4 experience is preferred.
- Well-versed with IFRS and familiar with local financial regulations in the APAC region.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably 8 or above years of working experience in audit or accounting field, including at least 2 years of experience managing a team.
- Experience with Oracle system highly preferred.
- Professional accounting qualification is strongly preferred.
- Self-directed, self-motivated, good logical thinking skills and able to come up with solutions and suggestions for process improvement.
