APEX Lead Developer

Job Description

The candidate will be expected to lead the full life cycle development of custom APEX applications develoment.

Expertise in developing Apex Applications and UI using features like Interactive Reports, Grids, Dropdown, CSS, JavaScript

Good Technical knowledge of Oracle Apex Architecture new features of 18.1+ , Deployment and collaboration features

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of complex applications utilizing Oracle APEX while directing the project development team.
• Create technical application designs by documenting process flows; mapping functional requirements to technical requirements; creating application prototypes
• Experience in writing technical design documents, ER Diagrams
• Estimate the level of effort required to complete technical work. Plan technical work so that it may be completed on schedule and within budget.
• Participates in client needs assessments, architecture, including sitemaps and wireframes
• Supports clients technical issues with APEX applications
• Acts as liaison with internal partners and individual users to ensure positive web experience.
• Creates associated documentation for the applications
• Ensures that all documents meet established content standards
• Ability to pick up additional skills quickly

Skill Requirements:

• Oracle APEX
• SQL and PL/SQL
• A desire to write re-usable, readable code using the most up to date industry standards
• Strong communication skills, particularly in translating perceived needs into technical requirements
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
