We are currently seeking a API Application Development Lead - REMOTE to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

As an API Application Development Lead, you will own the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to design innovative solutions , Mentor team, validate code and UT results and ensure successful Go-Live in Production. You will work closely with Business, Project managers, user interaction designers, and onsite offshore software engineers to deliver a new project.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this API Application Development Lead:

- Work with PM for dependencies, estimates and milestone finalization

- Finalize Architecture with Business and dev team

- Work with Different customer partners as required.

- Take lead on Technical discussions

- Review Perform API Publishing and development as required

- Work with testing and others teams to support Integration, performance and security testing

- Work along with DevOps team to validate or promote changes to higher environment

- Support APIs for ongoing maintenance in Production environment

- Guide team for .NET Restful API design and development

- Implement APIs and microservices for extraction of data from Big Query and other data sources

- Review and guide team for creating API Documentation using Open API Specification

Minimum Requirements:

- 5+ Years' experience in API development and Microservice architecture using .NET Core

- 3+ Years' experience as a Lead

- 5+ Years' experience with hands-on Azure DevOps and CI/CD processes

- 5+ Years building API using RAML specification and Swagger documentation

- 5+ Years implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, Open ID connect, Encryption/decryption

- 5+ Years understanding of Management APIs and Microservices in Azure cloud Platform.

Preferred Skills:

- Hands-On experience with any API Management/gateway tool

- Proficient in Open API specification and API Documentation

- Understanding of communication to cloud based enterprise systems via Azure Microservice backend will advantage

- Proficient in JavaScript and C# based development

- Experience using Messaging using MSMQ, SOA using REST, SOAP RPC, HTTP, TCP IP, UDP Protocols

- Familiarity with Open Source libraries like Unity IoC, Automapper, Enterprise Library

- Knowledge with Design Patterns and Principles (CQRS, Event Sourcing, Singleton, etc)

- Knowledge in Domain Architecture, Interface based programming, Dependency Injection, loose coupling, components.

- Knowledge of Node.js

- Understanding of Agile development (Daily Scrum Meeting, Sprint Planning, Sprint Backlog, Scrum of Scrums & PI Planning)

-Knowledge of API best Practices and Performance Tuning

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $85,900 - 198,800. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
