The API Integration Specialist plays a vital role in tackling complex technological challenges by creating innovative API solutions, enhancing system interoperability, and staying current with industry trends. Roles & Responsibilities

The API Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and managing API integrations and solutions. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless communication between systems and applications while being trained to become a MuleSoft Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include:

Projects

• Strong knowledge of API design principles, programming languages, and frameworks, with the ability to implement and optimize API integrations.
• The capacity to analyze requirements, understand integration needs, and design API solutions that align with business objectives and technical constraints.
• Adept at troubleshooting and resolving integration issues, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of implemented solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment and participating in code reviews.
• A willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with MuleSoft and other relevant technologies, preparing to transition into a MuleSoft Software Engineer role, and demonstrating a strong commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Experience in managing tasks, timelines, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with security and data protection best practices, ensuring that implemented API solutions adhere to industry standards and safeguard sensitive information.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in developing technology solutions.
• 3+ years of experience in API integration and development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with MuleSoft or a willingness to learn the platform.
• Proficient in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Understanding of API security best practices and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
