API Support Specialist

NinjaTrader is seeking a talented API Support Specialist who wants to make a difference by pushing the limits of technology. In this role, you will work closely with our network of API vendor partners, helping design, build, improve, and maintain their connections to our API. In this role, you will:

• Help to support our growing API Vendor community by maintaining active communication and support with various development teams
• Help to support our retail API users by maintaining active communication on the API community forums
• Develop an expertise in NinjaTrader’s product offerings, underlying implementation and technical design
• Drive developer requirements and feature requests with Product and Engineering departments

Key Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development or educational experience, ideally in web development
• Demonstrated expertise with: javascript, using third-party REST API
• Demonstrated experience with technical writing
• Experience with: SQL, WebSockets, Java, C++, .NET, or other programming languages is a plus
• A passion for excellent documentation, with strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting complex problems, working effectively across multiple teams
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline.  Advanced degree preferred
