Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for Apigee Admin with 5+ years of experience .

Duration: Full Time only

Location: Plano, TX (Remote)

Job Description and Qualifications include: (This is a hands-on development role)

• Required : (Apigee Administrator Role)
  • In this role, you will:
  • Lead in high level technical concepts spanning technologies
  • This role maintains the health and efficiency of all application infrastructure, provides professional hands-on implementation and technical advice to ensure the successful implementation of IT Infra. Management products.
  • Provide support of application platforms at the enterprise level which includes automating platform build, patches, vulnerabilities, change management, incident management, monitoring and continued platform improvement
  • Collaborate with peers, technology partners and vendors to identify, automate, and roll out patches; resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Support and manage APIs and Microservices using Java, Spring Boot etc.
  • Create, organize and implement API support processes
  • Support and deploy API policies using Apigee Edge Platform
  • Experience with Apigee Developer Portal and Drupal integration
  • Perform cloud security and certificate management
  • Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
  • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
  • 3+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
  • Azure Kubernetes experience for containerized implementation
  • 3+ years of scripting and automation using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages
  • 3+ years of supporting application platforms
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to deploy the proxies in various environments
  • 1+ years of experience supporting APIs or API Management Platforms like Apigee, IBM, MuleSoft, Broadcom, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting the AKS migration.
  • Experience with Apigee, OAuth admin, and JWT
  • Experience creating, organizing, and implementing API support processes
  • Support and deploy API policies using Apigee Hybrid
  • Understanding of OpenAPI Specifications in JSON or YAML format, including JWT authorizations
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization of services via OAuth 2
  • Support and manage APIs and Microservices using Java, Spring Boot etc.
  • Experience using POSTMAN for making management API Calls.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics, Splunk and Kafka
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays.
• Education and Additional Skills
  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent college education
  • Should have experience with working in large development projects
  • Should have the ability coordinate across multiple teams
  • Be nimble in handling and delivering fast moving projects with very minimal supervision
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
