This role is with the Cognizant Enterprise Integration (EI) and Digital Process Orchestration (DPO) within Enterprise Platform Services Team. Cognizant’s EI &DPO practice is a world leading provider of Hybrid Cloud Integration and Process Automation Services. EI &DPO practice has strategic alliances with “best of bread” platform providers to provide service for Cloud Integration Hybrid Integration Platforms B2B Platforms DPA and Low Code Platforms and Cloud Integration.

Job Description: While each team member has a primary skill set they are also expected to learn and contribute to areas outside of their primary skill set. You will be expected to be a well-regarded and respected individual contributor; possess strong inter-personal skills. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:

o Apigee X Hybrid

o On prem to Migration experience

o OpenShift

o High Level Reference Architecture outlining:

§ Deployment model

§ Environment Topology

§ Platform & API Security

§ Network and Resilience/Multi Region Deployment Strategy

§ Observability

§ Developer Portal Approach

§ Define target developer /consumer migration (non-disruptive) to Portal/ platform.

o Define Automation Tooling & Pipelines

o API Best Practices and Installation Strategy

o Agree Delivery Roadmap and Success Plan

o Configure APIGEE Hybrid Organization

o Provision service accounts.

o Establish Anthos/Kubernetes platform on the hosting platform (AWS Azure On-Prem)

o Install Apigee Hybrid runtime environment on the hosting platform.

o Configure Ingress – Define load balancing methods and TLS configurations.

o Configure RBAC

o Configure CI/CD pipeline associated with APIGEE Deployment

o Configure Logging and Monitoring

o Configure Environments and Environment Groups

o Develop API identified in the Discover and Blueprinting phase.

o Create 1 API Product and API App for testing.

o Create Shared Flows for common functions like logging and auditing.

o Validation of API Proxy deployment

§ API Smoke Testing

§ Validate API Tracing

§ Validate out of the box API Analytics

§ Validate Logs

o Performance Testing & Validation

o Conduct failover test across multiple regions.

o Document Validation results and get signoff.

o Understand Customer objectives and Strategy.

o Understand AS-IS infrastructure consumers and use cases.

o Collect API Inventory

o Review any existing CI/CD pipeline setup.

o Review existing API Management practices.

o Identify API patterns for the Initial Onboarding

o Customer NFR’s

o Identify IAM integration RBAC Role mappings.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90000 to $140000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
