Cardiometabolic Advanced Practice Provider

Banner University Medical Group (BUMG) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of highly trained Cardiologists located at the Arcadia Banner Health CenterPlus Clinic. This provider will work closely with the lead physician managing patients. Qualified candidate must be detail-oriented and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations. The APP hired, will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, education, consultation, and research. Candidate will be required to work autonomously at time as well as with physicians and other clinicians along the continuum in a team approach to patient care.

Work schedule: Full Time | 4 - 10-hour shifts | week/weekend rotation call within APP's

Practice details and qualifications include:

• APP experience in Critical Care, Cardiology, Obesity Medicine or Endocrinology; new grads welcome with RN critical care or specialty experience
• Outpatient experience in an ambulatory setting desired
• Current Board Certification and Current Arizona License
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances
• Patient-focused, independent and willing to collaborate in a team environment

Banner - University Medicine Clinics Arcadia, is located at 44th Street and Camelback in Phoenix, AZ. Opened in 2023, this innovative academic campus is designed to provide the people of Arcadia and surrounding areas a single location for many of their non-acute health care needs. The academic clinical setting also allows for immediate access to on-site advanced imaging, lab, pharmacy, and will include several providers across 11 different specialties, including hosting resident and fellow trainees in rotation.
