THE ROLE

Mack Weldon is looking for an Apparel Production Coordinator to manage the overall sample process, coordinate sample shoots and work cross-functionally with Design and Production on day-to-day tasks. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and eager to learn the ins and outs of the merchandising and production processes. They will help own key aspects of the visual tools that help to keep our cross-functional teams intertwined and up to date. This role will collaborate with several teams including Design, Production, and Marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Process all data entry into our production management systems, including style set-up and creation of purchase orders
  • Create and assist in the updates of the seasonal line sheet, shared cross functionally company-wide
  • Organize and maintain production related samples and track arrival
  • Act as a liaison between Marketing and Production to coordinate the timing of site images
  • Partner with Design and Marketing on quarterly photoshoots and aid in all sample preparation and organization
  • Perform other duties as required such as: assisting in fittings, accommodating warehouse order requests with Logistics team, site maintenance, and opening and distributing packages from overseas vendors

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • 1-2 years relevant experience would be helpful to get a jump start, though no direct prior experience is required
  • Eagerness to learn about the production and merchandising processes
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and organization skills 
  • Comfortable with basic software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Salary range of $62,500 - $72,500 *This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other MW employees.
