HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Appeals Analyst is primarily responsible for researching complex plan participant issues submitted through the appeal process by the Call Center Customer Service Representatives (CSR's) or directly from the participants. Acts as a liaison & addresses issues with the Claims, AOP, Overpayments, RADS, & FDR Departments, as well as the Account Managers, Call Center Managers, and any other departments/personnel necessary to resolving the issue(s) at hand. Problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy and analytical skills are required. Being multifunctional and flexible is a requirement.
- Receives, researches and resolves complex issues normally within 24-48 business hours ~ taking into consideration the time of year.
- Subject Matter Expert in the main areas of the call center environment.
- Processes claims, premiums, substantiations, card activations, outbound calls, and any issue that needs to be reviewed and resolved.
- Works directly with plan participants, CSR's and Account Managers etc.
- Collaborates with the Claims, AOP, Overpayment, RADS, R&R, FDR Departments etc. regarding claims, account adjustments and CBAS issues.
- Follows-up with CSR's & their Managers on email updates and coaching opportunities.
- Exhibits an exceptional level of customer service internally and externally with inbound/outbound calls & with all communications.
- Assists plan participants with questions regarding Flexible Spending, RRA, & HRA.
- Makes outbound calls to members and or providers as necessary to resolve member issues.
- Multi-functionality is a must
- Other duties as assigned.

- 3-5 years of applicable experience
