Appian Architect, McLean, VA  

Position: Technical architect to provide leadership and oversight during engagements by assisting with the creation of high level design and solution architecture for applications by working with teams to identify and remediate technical risks early in the application development lifecycle. Design and review complex solutions with Appian software and remove technical impediments. Contribute directly to the product feedback loop based on design patterns, field feedback, implementation challenges, and product features needed by Appian clients. Identify and advise on key design decisions early in the application lifecycle, including but not limited to: data model design, integrations, application security, and scalability considerations. Lead design reviews with the team for Appian implementation. Apply experience architecting Appian solutions, reviewing solutions and covering a range of Appian-led, partner-led or client-led projects. This role is a Member of Appian's Center of Excellence (CoE) and Technical Guild, which provides technical leadership and defines Appian best practices.

Requirements: MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Engineering Management or related + minimum 3 years of experience with entire SDLC inc. 2 years working with Appian implementations.
