Appian Architect

Job Description

Infosys is seeking Appian Architect. You will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the Architecture and high level design artefacts. You will also do technical feasibility and identify smart ways of completing client's requirement. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Relevant Information Technology experience.
• U.S. Citizens or those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are not able to sponsor at this time

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in Design and development in Appian with good exposure in 22.X / 23.X versions

• Hands on experience on Following.
  • Create process maps, design and development of process and related components in any of above technologies.
  • Should have very good experience in Appian Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Expression Rules, Functions, Records, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management and Integration Smart Services
  • Design and Build of low code Applications, Experience in handling requirements, Demos and technical solution including high- and low-level design of Java interfaces, Exposure to integration with Custom UI.
  • Exposure to setting up and managing the environment on cloud.
  • Exposure to working in multiple parallel projects, delivery governance.
• Ability to define (add/modify) new architectures and anchor review of artifacts.
• Analytical ability, ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point, learnability in new domains, Ability to create complex, large scale and software/hardware intensive solutions,
• Ability to clearly articulate and engage technically with senior technology/management team of customers
• Work closely with different stakeholders and portfolio leads, business users/client managers/ specialists to understand the requirements / problem statements

• Deep knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
• Development of Java Spring boot API Services
• Experience in JSON, XML, XML parsers, and XSL
• Experience working with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases: database sizing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Configuration of Web Server Application like Weblogic/Websphere

This job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
