Job Title: Appian Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Position description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Appian Developer to build and maintain critical business applications and solutions using the Appian Low Code Development and Workflow platform.

As a part of cross functional Agile team this developer will be responsible for development and support of mission critical client facing applications and workflows using the Appian platform. The developer will liaise with SMEs directly and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of Appian applications including requirements capturing, designing, building, integrating, testing and support.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with a global Agile team to develop new applications, workflows, integrations and enhancements using Appian
• Design, build and support integrations between Appian and other third-party tools and processes.
• Design, build and support integrations between Appian and inhouse applications and data hubs
• Provide maintenance/ support of the applications, workflows, integrations and processes built on the Appian platform
• Code using best practices and ensure minimal maintenance is required
• Effectively communicate with team members and business stakeholders to resolve issues

Knowledge and skills:

• Minimum 5+ Years of overall software development experience
• 3+ years of experience developing using Appian platform
• 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with SQL using SQL server or other RDBMS
• Strong business analysis, model driven architecture and model driven development experience
• Experience working in Agile teams using AzDo or similar tool
• Detail oriented and organized; able to understand information systems and ensure accuracy of work
• Innovative, and always looking for ways to integrate new technology to solve problems and fill in capability gap

Education and experience:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
• Appian certifications are a plus
