Overview
We are looking for a qualified and proactive Appian Sr. Solution Consultant who will help lead and deliver all phases of the development life cycle for our Appian engagements. The Appian Sr. Solution Consultant works closely with our clients and delivery teams to design and implement solutions as part of significant digital transformation initiatives. The individual will plan, lead and manage resources on complex Appian projects and will help mentor team members and enable client resources as needed. The Appian Sr. Solution Consultant will also play a supporting role on pre-sales initiatives and will be able to communicate and demonstrate Appian's value proposition.
Responsibilities

• Responsible for design, development and delivery of Appian solutions while adhering to Appian best practices on client engagements
• Build trust with client teams through sound technical consulting, leadership and quality delivery
• Propose innovative business and technical solutions that address the complex challenges and goals of clients and prospects
• Gather functional and technical system requirements
• Design and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies
• Provide demos for clients and prospects
• Lead code, design, and implementation reviews of Appian delivery teams
• Develop and mentor analyst, developer, and client resources
• Assist in the production and delivery of client proposals and RFPs
• Design and deliver high-quality technical proof of concepts
• Contribute to knowledge repository of best practices, thought leadership, and IP
• Provide delivery estimates by thoroughly understanding scope
• Help identify and deliver innovative go-to-market solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of Appian experience leading Appian implementations
• Appian Certified Senior Developer required
• Ability to articulate and demonstrate Appian's core features and capabilities including SAIL, Appian Objects, UI/UX, Process Model design, RPA, IDP, Process Mining, Portals, and integrations
• Experience with creating design and data flow diagrams
• Strategic and creative problem solver to complex business and technical scenarios
• Experience with RDBMS technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
• Experience with Authentication technologies (e.g. SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP)
• Experience with web services, integrations and middleware technologies (e.g. RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB, Fusion)
• Experience implementing Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google, Private Cloud), On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments
• Experience with source control (e.g. Git, SVN, CVS)
• Exposure to RPA, AI and intelligent automation tools
• Exposure to writing and/or utilizing Appian Plugins, Connected Systems and Component UI Plugins
• Strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies
• Passion for continued learning of new technology trends
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), consulting, presentation and client facing skills
