Application Analyst (Pigment and/or CaptivateIQ)

As a part of the IT team, this will play a key role in defining the financial and operational landscape of SingleStore. You will be the systems & technology SME owning our financial planning, commissions, and other financial systems. Working closely with our FP&A team, you will be building models and reports in financial planning and commission systems on meaningful financial and operational metrics to drive insightful and data-led business decisions. You will also be a strategic partner and work collaboratively to create new processes, enhance existing reports, and work on automation to further scale our business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the central owner of our Financial planning system (Pigment) and commissions system (CaptivateIQ) to build and maintain the system, and support its users.
• Work closely with our FP&A and cross-functional teams to convert business-planning, scaling, and reporting use cases into Pigment & CaptivateIQ and to continuously improve system capabilities.
• Build, configure, and maintain Pigment reports, metrics, lists, dashboards, actions, and models to support new business objectives and initiatives.
• Manage ongoing system maintenance and recommend improvements that can drive efficiencies across Finance & Strategy
• Be the admin of our commission system CaptivateIQ for accurate and timely commission payments.

Key Experience:

• Extensive experience with Pigment is required
• 1+ year(s) of experience in building and reporting in Pigment is required
• 1+ years(s) of experience in commission administration in CaptivateIQ preferred. 
• 2+ years of experience building and maintaining models in financial planning tools

Experience working with FP&A / Strategic Finance functions and familiar with finance processes.

• Commission administration experience in CaptivateIQ for accurate and timely commission payment
• Team player, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards
• Strong partnership and communications skills
• Experience working in a startup environment, with an ability to balance strategic initiatives and operational execution

Education Background:

• Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or Finance preferred.
