Application Architect

Join the newly formed Enterprise Technology team at Flexcar and help us create the technology needed to support our internal operations. You will be a key part of the technology team responsible for consulting, designing, developing, configuring, and deploying enterprise application solutions. We are a cloud first organization, and this role will be responsible for our SaaS based application environment.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, document, and test application software and systems leveraging consultants
• Define the configuration and architecture for systems across the organization
• Partner with the security team to enable best practices to secure our environment
• Consult with various business areas on needs and identify solutions
• Evaluate applications to assess capabilities, features, and fit for purpose
• Manage roadmap and system upgrades
• Identify opportunities for automation of manual process leveraging system capabilities
• Manage configuration changes related to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, custom objects, and scripts
• Develop or assist users with custom reporting and dashboards
• Defining interfaces and writing scripts to integrate across applications

What drives success in this role:

• Considerable experience with Office 365 and should be able to articulate business transformation using cloud technologies.
• Technical experience and expertise in 3rd party financial (NetSuite) and HR systems (UKG)
• Experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company
• Demonstrates excellence technically, professionally and in areas related to customer-engagement.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Ability to successfully work on and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, either independently or within a small team
• Strong business analysis skills to understand business pain points and document proposed solutions
• Flexibility to work outside normal business hours with a global team
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or 7+ years of comparable experience.
