Application Architect: Azure Cloud

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology

As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Microsoft Azure Application Solution design and implementation using Azure PaaS and SaaS offerings.
• Microsoft Azure Logic Apps Azure Functions Azure Service Bus Azure IoT Azure App Fabric and other App Services.
• Azure certification is desirable.
• Cloud Migration/Modernization experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+relevant software development experience in full stack
• Proficient in .Net Core with React or Angular
• Proficient in Web API MVC and Microservices
• Proficient with Azure Platform Development (Azure Functions Azure Services etc)
• Proficient in one or more of Data Development (SQL Databases No SQL Cloud Datastores etc) technologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD Pipelines. [One of GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps] into serverless containers (Kubernetes Docker)
• Experience in Agile teams applying the best architectural design unit testing patterns & practices with an eye for code quality and standards.
• Nice to have event-based programming (IoT)
