Application Architect: Mobile

Introduction
In this role you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology

As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• You will build scalable highly available resilient extendable secured architecture to provide a significant boost to the business;
• Writing high quality code to achieve business goals;
• Working with various technical teams to understand their needs offering them solutions and setting and managing their expectations;
• Following up best practices for development and championing their adoption as per company defined standards;
• Mentor and grow engineers while keeping them engaged and focused on the product and company vision;

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum of 12 – 15+ years of relevant work experience in product-based Software development with demonstrable previous experience as Mobility Architect (8+ years in mobile platforms -Android iOS).
• Good experience of architecture design of end to end mobile solutions that includes mobile middleware cloud services and integration with enterprise or third-party systems.
• Good experience in leading complex mobile solutions that may have integrations with other IoT/Cognitive/Cloud/Web solutions.
• Need to have a good grasp of the latest technology trends in mobile and other supporting technologies such as Cloud IoT and Web. Experience in leading innovations and Proof of Concepts in emerging mobile technologies.
• Good knowledge of Architecture Patterns like MVC MVP MVVM VIPER etc. Good experience in at least two of mobile programming languages (Kotlin Swift Java ObjectiveC Javascript). Experience in architecture of native cross-platform and hybrid mobile applications (ReactNative Ionic Angular Flutter).

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Should understand an end-to-end context on Mobile Transformation engagements.
• Experience and knowledge in DevOps Automation developing and deploying solution on Cloud Platforms
• Excellent communication skills.
