Application Architect - SAP Cloud Integration (PI/PO + HANA)

Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager and Architect in IBM Consulting you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

SAP solution architects serve as the conduit between businesses and technology. You will use your analytical and problem-solving skills to craft adaptable comprehensive suites appropriate for each client.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Working with a multi-disciplinary team to design technical solutions required to support business transformations and articulating proposed solutions in business terms demonstrating technical effectiveness;
• Managing or executing specific project deliverables and scope to ensure project schedules & timelines are respected;
• Have architectural oversight to provide solutions technical guidance and functional specifications based on business requirements;
• You’ll be able to expand your SAP knowledge base (in cooperation with SAP trainings);
• Oversee and guide SAP enterprise application integration discovery and designs;
• Take charge of the integration delivery for various forthcoming projects;
• Manage integrations across a range of SAP platforms including but not limited to: S/4HANA EWM IBP SAC CPI CIG;
• Expertly handle middleware tools such as: PO/PI Cloud Integration API Management SAP Gateway;
• Successfully Managing SAP projects and team size of 50+ resources.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 6 years of experience as an SAP Technical Lead or Integration Architect;
• 5 years of SAP Integration experience and expertise in building integrations using SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Platform Integration;
• At least 5 full life cycle implementations;
• At least 4 years of experience in HANA Technical Consulting Skills as team member;
• Extensive experience in SAP technical roles with a strong background in Cloud applications and SAP BTP;
• Excellent communication and leadership skills;
• Relevant SAP Certification are a plus.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 8 years of experience as an SAP Technical Lead or Integration Architect;
• 6 years of SAP Integration experience and expertise in building integrations using SAP PI/PO and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
