Application Consultant

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an IBM Application Architect you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

• Designing building creating analysing and maintaining cloud systems • Responsible for the supervision of project’s cloud computing system • Work on cloud application designs cloud approval plans and systems required to manage cloud storage • Support for application architecture and deployment in cloud environments • Provide Integration architecture solution architecture and system design. • Work closely with Project managers to ensure project delivery as decided at the start of the sprint. • Ensure cadence to the technical governance provided by Lead Architect group.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

• Cloud application experience • Solid experience in cloud native solution / microservices architecture design & development is a must • Hands on cloud application experience in GCP/ AWS/ Azure/ PCF • Familiar with DevOps tooling such as Ansible and Jenkins • Experience in Tencent Ali and Huawei Cloud would be a plus • Has strong knowledge and hands on experience on platform (Docker Kubernetes Linux) and basic database (both SQL / NoSQL) technologies • Has good understanding in Agile software development framework e.g. Scrum • Good Problem Solving skill and commercial/engagement support sense • Able to perform required tasks with minimal supervision • Good command of written and spoke English & Cantonese with strong communication skills to work with partners globally
