In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Design implement and manage complex Azure cloud solutions tailored for telecommunications clients
- Provide technical guidance and consultancy for cloud migrations integrations and optimization
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for leveraging Azure services to enhance business operations and drive innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions
- Lead proof-of-concept (POC) projects and presentations to demonstrate the value of Azure in telecommunications scenarios
- Mentor and guide junior team members in acquiring Azure-related skill sets
- Stay updated with the latest Azure developments and industry trends in telecommunications
- Proven 10+ years of experience in cloud consulting with a minimum of 7 years focused on Microsoft Azure
- In-depth knowledge of Azure services including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Platform as a Service (PaaS) Software as a Service (SaaS) and managed services
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and industry challenges
- Experience with cloud migration strategies including lift-and-shift re-platforming and refactoring
- Proficiency in Azure automation tools DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures
- Outstanding communication and client-facing abilities
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; or equivalent practical experience
