Application Consultant: Experience Fullstack

Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Define, detail and scope the technical requirements into solution architecture and drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint.
• Design, develop and/or re-engineer application components, and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
• Support technical consultants and lead to building solutions and providing technical mentoring and guidance.

• Demonstrated programming proficiency and experience with programming languages, methodologies, and design patterns. At least three to five years of experience.
• Expertise in Web Development, experienced in at least one of the popular frontend development frameworks like Angular, Vue. They should be able to build responsive and interactive UI components using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience in Java, have in-depth knowledge and experience working with Java and its related frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. They should be able to develop/design complex applications using Java and have a good understanding of its core concepts.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions strongly desired.
• Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology based consulting environment, using agile development techniques strongly desired.
• Experience in developing mobile applications (native or hybrid), iOS/Android using Swift, Objective C or Android Studio is preferred.
