Typical day in the life of an Application Developer:
- Develop and maintain a Python-based testing framework being leveraged by numerous projects within an organization.
- The framework provides a foundation for standardization, automation, efficiencies, repeatability, reliable and confidence in testing of software solutions with the goals of reducing manpower costs without sacrificing quality.
- Will work closely with clients and key stakeholders to comprehend and implement system requirements and features.
- Develop and implement features using skills in Python and DevOps frameworks.
- Will leverage expertise with software engineering best practices, including Object-Oriented Design, Continuous Integration, automation and scripting within the Windows and Linux platforms.
- Will need to work well within the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design/develop/implement software, contribute in peer reviews of designs, code, processes and documentation.
What are we looking for?• At least two (2) years of professional (non-academic) Python development experience• Two (2) or more years' experience with• Software System Requirement Analysis, Design, Development, Integration, and testing• Two (2) or more years of Software Development experience• Ability to work individually and as a team• Basic understanding of computer networking• Basic shell scripting in Windows and/or Linux environments• BA or BS degree - (Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of eighteen (18) years of experience)

Nice to have:• Experience with Pytest• DevOps familiarity• Working within or outside of Agile constructs• Tools: Docker, Jenkins, Code Collaborator, JIRA, Confluence /DokuWiki• Configuration management with Git, Subversion, Bitbucket• Atlassian Tool Suite• Wireshark, Splunk experience
