Application Development Manager

Job Description

Provide leadership, support, and enhancements for the global business application footprint. Drive innovation, automation, and integration to advance our enterprise applications capabilities. Specific duties include the following:

• Manage Oracle EBS and other business systems development;
• Work with PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Business Suite, Agile, MS Project, Oracle Reports Developer, Oracle Forms Developer, Personalizations and Workflow;
• Establish partnerships with IT management team, business system analysts, stakeholders, and end users to identify potential application enhancements and resolve application and performance issues;
• Collaborate with peers and IT management team to prioritize objectives, meet project deadlines, and adhere to project budgets;
• Deliver development and reporting solutions and manage team members by providing guidance, support, and assistance to developers with project deliverables, testing, and debugging to ensure overall success of project;
• Review status of system applications and prepare recommendations for system improvements and automation opportunities; and
• Oversee requirements gathering and design processes, development standards, quality of work products, and risk mitigation; and ensure adherence to SDLC in accordance with corporate policies.

Position may be located anywhere in the United States.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and 5 years of experience in a software engineering application development-related occupation.

Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently:

5 years of experience utilizing PL/SQL and BI Publisher; 5 years of experience managing business application development in an Oracle E-Business Suite environment; 5 years of experience performing development using virtualization and technical infrastructure in on-prem and SaaS environments; 5 years of experience customizing Oracle Forms, Extensions, Conversions, Workflows, Reports and Personalizations; 5 years of experience managing consultants and employees to perform their duties across identity management, database management and application development.

Salary: $139,901 - $157,304 per year
