Application Development Sr Analyst

The Engineering Sr Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for accomplishing results and drive a variety of engineering activities including the design, acquisition and deployment of hardware, software and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. This position is a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) and will be a key contributor to current and next generation design leveraging Pega Customer Decision Hub. The overall objective of this role is to design, develop and troubleshoot Pega CDH and lead efforts to ensure quality standards are being met within existing and planned framework. The Lead System Architect is responsible for hands-on design and implementation of integrated Pega-based solutions that are scalable, built for rapid change, and meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Support all products within functional area, from design to implementation and ongoing performance according to business need
• Provide business thought leadership on technical architecture and best practices on the Pega PRPC platform
• Provide technical leadership in the design of highly complex systems and integrations with Pega CDH
• Provides architecture and design guidance to Pega CDH project teams
• Collaborate with existing application teams and solution architects to arrive at design and integration specifications and data migration strategies
• Develop and advocate for new solutions to undefined system needs, where no solution is available within the technical community
• Impact the engineering function by contributing to technical direction and strategic decisions
• Assists in the diagnosis and resolution of Pega issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation Pega
• Maintain a position of authority on the Pega CDH platform, ensuring integrations are scalable to meet Cit's future demands
• Ensure products are ready and adhere to global operational standards for ongoing operation and support
• Mentor junior team members and allocate work
• Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships with executives from technology vendors within assigned area and coordinate to influence vendor product roadmaps to be in line with Citi strategic goals
• Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business and apply knowledge of competitors, products and services
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ of relevant Pega platform experience in an Engineering role
• 7+ years as a Pega LSA or senior systems architect
• Pega Lead System Architect Certification on version 8 +
• Strong knowledge of cloud based platforms and integrations
• Knowledge of integrations with enterprise multi-tier applications
• Strong Data management experience
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Project Management experience
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process change and improvement

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
