About the Role
As Anatomage has successfully adapted to the pandemic, we have increasingly ramped up our services virtually to all of our clients by providing more resources. As an Application Engineer, you will primarily be working on our Anatomage Table Application. We are growing at a rapid pace and are seeking Application Engineers to provide external support to our end users, conduct quality testing and troubleshooting, and develop new features on our application. This person will be an integral part of the team, working alongside a group of subject matter experts who have an impact on our educational resources that we provide.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related fieldThis person must have strong verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to delve into next-generation 3D anatomy visualization.

This position is full-time, on-site/hybrid at our Santa Clara, CA headquarters. Local candidates preferred.

What You'll Do

• Collaborating with Software Developers, Anatomists, 3D Modelers, and customer contacts to complete projects
• Creating and performing quality test plans/reports
• Research and development of new features, tool, products
• Providing training and technical support to customers
• Develop product contents and activities with customers

• Product training and demonstrations

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware support issues

• Present team accomplishments and progress

Requirements

Skills and Abilities Required

• Strong software and technology knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, and responsible
• Good organizational skills
• Comfort traveling approximately once per month to customer sites for product training

Qualities We Look For

• Familiarity with medical or dental industry
• Sales or customer service experience
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and design software (ex: Zbrush, SolidWorks, Maya)
• Familiarity with radiological imaging and terminology

Minimum Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field
• Good academic performance in studies of science, engineering, and mathematics
• 1-2 years of prior work experience preferred, but not required
