Application Engineer - Calibre Design Solutions

Key Responsibilities :

1. Providing technical support to customers via telephone and other electronic means, and at customer locations

2. Assisting customers in deploying Siemens EDA's Calibre software to solve design challenges

3. Tracking and updating customer issues using defined Siemens EDA's processes and tracking tools

4. Developing and delivering technical training on new features and product updates

5. Developing technical content for Siemens EDA's knowledge base

6. Communicating customers' technical requirements as well as customer issues to the product and sales teams

Qualifications :

1. Over 3 years engineering experiences in EDA related field is preferred

2. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to interact with customers

3. Good understanding of custom/ASIC design flow and physical verification

4. Very strong analytical and problem solving skills

5. Proficiency in programming language

6. Knowledge of competitive EDA tools and products in area of physical implementation, physical verification and power analysis is highly desired

7. Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science, M.S preferred
