We're looking for an Application Engineer to join Team Snapchat!
What you'll do:
  • Work with Snap's Platform Integrity and Customer Operations team to understand business problems and customer journeys
  • Design & build scalable applications/features focused towards creating business impact through self-service features on our Snapchat Support Site
  • Work with other Snap engineering teams to build & maintain high volume inbound & outbound backend integrations
  • Ensure high application uptime for our Zendesk help center services
  • Drive and code solutions for customers-enabling innovative solutions for their Zendesk help center requests
  • Collaborate with other key partners to deliver on time tested and reusable code in a fast-paced environment
  • Deliver rapid development iterations that drive support agent performance
  • Work with the Zendesk administration team and other IT partners to build best in class solutions
  • Strong organizational skills to balance multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with an eye for business

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Expert knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues
  • Able to iterate quickly turning mockups into HTML and CSS
  • A passion for the end-to-end solutions that drive the user experience and customer happiness
  • Experience maintaining the technical needs of sites, apps, and highly used integrations
  • Detailed understanding of how a mobile user experience differs from the experience on a web or other application
  • Results-oriented problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years as a Front end developer with web technologies to include Vue.js, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Zendesk Guide and related Zendesk technologies
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence for project management
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Python, Github
  • Experience with Big Query, Airflow, Looker or any other Big Data platform

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.
Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) :
The base salary range for this position is $165,000-$230,000 annually.
Zone B :
The base salary range for this position is $157,000-$219,000 annually.
Zone C :
The base salary range for this position is $140,000-$196,000 annually.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
