This exciting role is embedded within the dynamic Sales Organization of the Connection Systems (CS) Business, a global leader generating $3 Billion in revenue with over 20,000 employees across 5 continents. As part of this team, you'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with leading distributors, contributing directly to the growth and expansion of our innovative product portfolio.

Your Tasks

• Coordination of new product developments together with Product Line Management and Product Engineering, development of solution proposals taking into account the respective customer requirements
• Checking product design and manufacturing drawings for completeness and compliance with specifications and requirements. Requesting and monitoring technical tests and forwarding products to the responsible test laboratory for the purpose of verification and qualification tests (internal or external)
• Close and global cooperation with the respective specialist departments of Aptiv Connection Systems as well as with the cross-group divisions
• Knowing customer requirements and wishes, communicating these to the own organization and driving departments, e.g. technologies that are desired or considered by customers
• Processing and coordination of technical customer inquiries
• Support and coordination of technical customer inquiries
• Support and coordination with regard to quality management topics (e.g. new sampling, BMG, AWE) correspond to the customer's quality requirements
• Competitive analysis, benchmark and market observation

Your Background

• A degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• At least 5 years of experience in the Transportation Industry preferably in the connector business.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German.
• A self-driven, motivated personality with a passion for learning and collaborating across multiple functions and locations.
