Application Engineer - IP

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Engineer (AE) to join our IP team.  As an AE, our customers’ success relies on you!  In this highly visible role, you will act as the customer’s lifeline for support and expertise.

This role is Hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, or Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Provide our customers with industry-leading technical support and guidance on a consistent and reproducible basis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Engineering, Product), to effectively address customer inquiries
• Own and drive customer issues to resolution in a timely, efficient manner
• Independently seek out solutions to customers’ technical issues
• Generate any required data, including PPA, benchmarks, and more, as needed
• Provide product training and demonstrations
• Produce customer collateral including documentation, tutorials, code, and more

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 6+ years of industry experience, in a relevant technical supporting role preferred
• Strong technical background in semiconductor technologies, microarchitectures, system-level understanding
• Hands-on industry experience with either CPU and/or AI/ML architectures
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Experience with Verilog, EDA flows, verification tools
• Proven experience in software development and programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expertise with RISC-V ISA is preferred
• Expertise with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts technology is preferred 

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
