Application Engineer (M/F/T) Compressor and Mixer Seals

For our location in Dortmund, which is specialized in the development, production and global distribution of customer-specific sealing solutions in the area of gas and liquid-lubricated mechanical seals for compressors, turbines, pumps, agitators, etc., we are looking for an experienced Application Engineer (M/F/T) Compressor and Mixer Seals.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments at the site.

Tasks:

• Timely preparation of technical offers for compressor seals, mixer seals and sealing systems

• Contact person for technical and commercial customer inquiries

• Ensuring technical and marketing support for Customers and sales team

• Checking the offer for price as well as delivery and payment conditions

• Technical follow-up with customers, suppliers, and internal cross functional parties

• Collaborate with the global systems team on panel designs and retrofit projects

• Support in the development and maintenance of sales tools including reference lists, status updates, installation lists, data analysis on regional revenues coming from installed base

• Supporting purchasing in determining the price of purchased components

• Participation in exciting and challenging interdisciplinary projects of the entire site

• Participation in scheduled training courses

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed degree in Sales Engineering and Product Management (SEPM), Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar

• Knowledge in the field of rotating equipment, thermodynamics and sales and project management is an advantage

• Hands-on mentality when solving technical problems

• Very good knowledge of German and English

• Good knowledge of MS Office programs, as well as SAP & CRM tools

• High level of commitment and flexibility, as well as excellent communication skills and enthusiasm
