Application Engineer - Oracle & WMS

This position will be responsible for developing solutions and support of multiple applications and provide end user support for multiple applications in multiple geographies. Core activities will include development of technical specifications, configuration of standard applications, application customization and enhancements, integration and interfaces, conversions, reporting and business/technical automated workflows.

The Application Engineer - Oracle & WMS will have good functional business process knowledge in Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Supply Chain and Finance. This person works with a solid knowledge of IT architectures including cloud technologies, applications, database, networking, and security.

Note: This is a remote role within the United States-PST working hours.

Let's talk about the role:

• This position will be working with various applications such as Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Cloud and HighJump-Warehouse Management Systems, within Customer Excellence and Customer Operations teams
• The position should be willing to learn and work on multiple applications using multiple technologies - Oracle ERP, WMS (SQL Server, SSRS reports, Advantage Architect), Tableau, Snowflake, Oracle Cloud etc.
• Will be involved in full cycle implementation from business requirements, solution designing, development, testing and production rollout
• Collaborate with business partners and Information Systems peers to gather, validate and deliver products meeting business requirements
• Participate all levels of testing from peer code reviews to individual unit testing, integration and user acceptance testing
• Develop accurate, complete, comprehensible, and usable documentation of products and services
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system functional and technical errors including issues of overall system performance. Troubleshoot on systems and data, and generate solutions which may include systems modifications enhancements or new procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that demands coordination across time-zones
• Work on various Integration tools and technologies - TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Web Methods, SOA etc.
• Communicate effectively orally and in written form with multiple stakeholders within and across IS teams and business counterparts

Let's talk about you:

• Experience in developing solutions and/or integration with Oracle applications such as E-Business suite, Fusion applications
• Experience in configuring and developing RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) objects within various modules of Oracle eBusiness Suite such as Order Management, Inventory, Shipping, Advance Pricing, Manufacturing, Purchasing etc.
• Strong experience in PL/SQL Coding, XML Publisher, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Oracle Workflow
• Strong experience in developing Interfaces, API's, Reports and Forms
• Expert knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to Support EDI
• Thorough and detailed knowledge of database processing to include data extraction, transformation, and loading to different target data sources including databases and flat files
• Good to have experience in Service-Oriented Architecture SOA (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
• Open to learn and work on Integration Tools - TIBCO, Dell Boomi and WMS Technologies - HighJump One, SSRS reports, Advantage Architect etc.
