Application Engineer - Pathway Program
Job Description
- Provide technical and applications engineering support for operations, sales and engineering.
- Participate/Contribute in design reviews of new and updated products proposed by Engineering.
- Prepare product bulletins and product data sheets.
- Provide technical support to supply chain by verifying accuracy of orders.
- Develop technical proposals, well schematics, running procedures.
- Write and present papers for professional engineering associations, e.g. SPE
- Demonstrates knowledge of field operations including but not limited to completions and well construction, open hole and cemented frac completions, toe valve, and frac operations.
- Has knowledge in oilfield math calculations including volumes, pressures, forces, and advanced hydraulics.
- Maintain controlled copies of relevant applications and sales templates and documents.
- Manage customer related NCR (Non-Conformance Report) and related processes.
- Performs client interface duties as required.
- Available on a 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs.
- Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
- Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery policy, health, safety and environmental requirements and all applicable local policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
- Position is onsite located in Houston, TX.
- 0 or more years of work experience.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and departments
- Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to effectively utilize dedicated resources and ability to plan, control and take responsibility for own work
- Proven technical problem-solving ability
- Math fundamentals, calculate pressures, volumes and advanced hydraulics
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
