Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Deployment Planning and Strategy: You'll develop comprehensive deployment plans, considering application dependencies, Azure specifics, and project timelines. Collaboration with infrastructure, engineering, project management, and business stakeholders is crucial.
• Orchestrate Release Coordination: As the release lead, you'll coordinate and manage deployment activities, ensuring smooth and efficient launches. You'll also champion best practices for version control and release management.
• Master of Azure Infrastructure: You'll proficiently manage Azure resources, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability for applications. Leveraging Azure DevOps or similar tools to automate deployment pipelines is key.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: As a subject matter expert, you'll identify and resolve deployment-related issues. Proactive measures to anticipate and mitigate potential challenges are crucial.
• Security and Compliance Champion: You'll implement and enforce best practices for secure application deployment, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. Collaboration with the security team is essential.
• Documentation and Reporting Pro: You'll maintain comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Training team members and stakeholders, as well as providing periodic reporting, are ongoing responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a lead deployment engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, DevOps methodologies, and deployment automation tools.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
