Application Support Analyst Intern

As our summer intern you will be a member of the Xcellerate operations team and supports execution of standard configuration and customization activities for the Xcellerate Applications as a supporting Xcellerate Analyst for assigned studies. The Associate collaborates with the study team to setup requested applications to enable compliance with study plans. The associate requires working knowledge of one or more areas of programming (e.g. clinical data structures and mapping, tool configuration and JSON, JavaScript, HTML5, R or Python programming, SQL) as well as an understanding of broader drug development and clinical trials. He/she is responsible for accurate and timely delivery of assigned configurations and customizations.

Responsibilities:

• Support Lead Xcellerate Analysts 10%
• Perform standard study configuration, customization and study testing in at least one Xcellerate Application (TIDE, PDH, XPD, Xcellerate Risk and Issue Management) 50%
• Perform maintenance and update of standards in at least one Xcellerate Application 10%
• Support study specific issue resolution for Xcellerate Applications 20%
• Support development of infrastructure to support management of product intake requests 10%

Requirements:

• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL
• Basic understanding of algorithms and their scalability
• Programming skills in 1 of the following Javascript, SAS, C#, C++, R, Python, Matlab or equivalent. Javascript preferred.
• University degree education preferred (if required or experience level which may be substituted for level of education) in science, mathematics or computer science.
