Job Title: Manager, Application Support
Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs - hybrid)
FLSA: Exempt
Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the application support team. This includes triaging, identifying, and prioritizing tickets, as well as managing the resolution of issues and bug fixes. The Sr. Application Support Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various business units to ensure that support activities are aligned with business needs and objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the application support team, including prioritizing issues and coordinating support activities
- Perform tier 3 application support, including troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing bug fixes and code fixes as needed
- Work closely with developers to prioritize issues and ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner
- Coordinate with various business units to ensure that support activities are aligned with business needs and objectives
- Manage the team's workload, including assigning tasks and setting deadlines
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide feedback and guidance as needed
- Ensure that the team is following best practices and procedures for issue resolution and escalation
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques related to application support, and share this knowledge with the team
- Responsible for application environment management

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred
- Experience performing tier 3 application support
- Experience managing/leading application support teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues, including database problems and code issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders across various business units
- Proficiency in SQL is required; experience with Java and/or API's is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
