Application Support Specialist - Remote Opportunity
Job Description
This position is the first line of help when internal users encounter problems or defects with products and programs. They answer telephone inquiries, respond to emails and perform in-person support sessions. The team member needs a combination of technical and interpersonal attributes to streamline the user experience using internal applications in support of the service business.
Application Support Specialist Job Duties:
- Review application support requests, provide resolutions if available, and assign to a higher-level support group if necessary
- Support orientation of new users of existing applications
- Leverage ITSM tool to communicate with end users and document status
- Seek process improvement and problem management opportunities
- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing service incidents
- Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective action for given problems
- Provide advice and/or training on proper use of application software
- Create/update application knowledge base user documentation
- Perform other duties as necessary

- Ability to analyze information, present findings, and recommend courses of action
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and communications
- Strong communication skills, on the phone, in-person and electronically (i.e. e-mail, IM, text)
- Strong computer skills
Background Requirements
- High school diploma
- 3-5 years of experience working in a service delivery environment
- Experience using Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Familiarity with a variety of technologies, including PCs, networks and software applications
The pay range for this position for a New York City resident is $44,335.50 - $70,035.00 salary and represents the low and high end of the Agiliti pay range for this position. The pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Short-term and/or long-term incentives may be offered based on the position.
