Applications Content Developer

Brinqa has an immediate need for an Applications Content Developer to assist in developing risk management solutions as part of our Cybersecurity Knowledge Platform. We are looking for someone who can work closely with our Platform Team, Product Managers, and customers to understand how users of Brinqa manage their cyber risk and deliver the required solutions. You will be use a combination of the Brinqa Query Language (BQL) and configuration code to develop application content on top of our knowledge graph.  You will solid database skills, data modeling experience, and an ability to understand how businesses think about their cyber attack surface. 

You will use your background in developing analytical solutions for our end users.  You will need to translate the business value of the requirements into content that is delivered to our end users.  

You will deliver content packs on top of the Brinqa Platform that extends the existing out-of-the-box functionality.

You will be called upon to deliver high-quality solutions used by some of the world's largest enterprises.

You will be relied upon for your domain expertise that ensures the product implementation is tightly aligned with the needs of the customer.

With your knowledge and expertise, you will design out-of-the-box content that provides significant value to our customers. 

In support of the product roadmap, you will implement the content needed to support our team and customers.

You will support our quality initiatives that meet the expectations of prospects and maintain high renewal rates.

You will work within the processes that support team-led work planning, value delivery, and predictable execution.

During planning sessions, you will participate to ensure objectives are well-understood so that standards and metrics can be established.

You will deliver predictable operational support for both our internal and external customers of our technologies.

By assisting in the development of technical documentation, you will maximize the productivity of our technologies.

4+ years of experience in developing queries in support of end users

Experience working with Java/Groovy/Kotlin or similar technologies

Experience working with HTML/CSS

Experience working with SQL or similar data access languages

Experience working in various database technologies

Exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies 

AND IDEALLY 

Experience working with Neo4J or other cipher-based, graph database access languages

Experience building enterprise applications

Experience building cybersecurity or IT systems management applications

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering or Master’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred
