Job Description As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation & engineering practices. You will be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.
As an Applications Integrations Engineer you will work on implementation, integration and deployment of complex internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions in distributed, highly available environments. You will be an integral contributor in working with external and internal partners on the implementation of the cutting-edge physical security solutions using Agile practices, enabling the firm's multi-cloud strategy through public cloud adoption, and driving firm-wide initiatives forward by modernizing our technology applications and tools.

As an Applications Integrations Engineer you will work on implementation, integration and deployment of complex internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions in distributed, highly available environments. You will be an integral contributor in working with external and internal partners on the implementation of the cutting-edge physical security solutions using Agile practices, enabling the firm's multi-cloud strategy through public cloud adoption, and driving firm-wide initiatives forward by modernizing our technology applications and tools.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to architecture standards, risk management, security guidelines and data management policies.
- Be responsible for the overall implementation, integration components and configuration of 3rd party and in-house solutions.
- Take ownership and accountability for the deliverables in all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Be responsible for planning and delivery of the large-scale, distributed application and hardware upgrades.
- Work closely with Product Owners to understand LOB technology drivers, requirements, issues and product backlog.
- Develop and implement custom reports based on LOB requirements
- Work with internal and external interface partners to create, test and maintain application interfaces.
- Partner with internal and external teams on the performance and end-to-end integration testing efforts. Identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands.
- Provide application expertise and troubleshooting support for complex issues escalated by the users and production support.
- Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Logic based problem-solving, analytical and excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage self to deliver on assigned tasks, projects and objectives
- Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
- Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
- Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiar with development tools such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Jira, etc.
- Knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with server based Operating Systems such as Windows 2016/2019 (Red Hat Linux/Unix a plus)
- 5+ years with database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
- Practical working experience with high-availability (clusters, failover) and networking (latency, load balancing, firewall) concepts
- Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, database design and data warehousing.
- Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering software
- Experience with reporting, business Intelligence and visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, etc.)
- Experience with functional, user acceptance and performance testing.
- Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise and working knowledge of business processes; i.e., the ability to understand 'the business' and the impact of technology solutions
- Good understanding of Cloud technologies and Cloud computing platforms
- Cloud Certification is a plus
